Crazy Storm

We recently moved to the Beach in Seabrook, NH and we had a big storm in New England but not a flake here at the Beach. I gotta say I am thrilled.

I am moving to Hawaii because I do not like winter.

Anyway - I pray everyday to live in Hawaii and not have to deal with snow and winter and here I go with the first big storm of the year and I get NO SNOW.

It's wonderful!

Never underestimate the power of prayer.

Things Are Heating Up!

More people are 'getting it'

Getting what?

How easy it is to conduct a Skin Nutrition Class. The feed back we are getting from the free video at Leveraged Retail is off the charts.

Here's why:

Its a real class with Powerpoint cut in. You can see an authentic class ~ with mistakes ~ still gets great results.

During the month of Feb. we will be posting more videos from classes we scheduled at classes.

Lisa Rosanio ~ a personal sponsorship, is now doing her own classes and will be filmed sometime in Feb. To see the progression of someone who has never done one a class to doing them successfully is a real confidence builder.

Our goal is to have a sequence everyone can follow ~ Davene doing classes for Lisa. Lisa doing classes from classes Davene helped her book from those guests and then some of those guests enrolling and doing classes of their own.

We see Feb as a BIG month in moving toward this objective.

Why is this so important?

Simple.

Evidence that product moves is already established.

Evidence that it is easy to book classes even with 'imperfect' presentations is already established.

Evidence that Fusion [having customers recruiting for you] is already established.

All these things are there to see right now on the video[s]. But the really big thing for all of us is 'Will it Duplicate?"

Documentation of duplication from folks who started as a guest is what we are all after and Davene is really committed to making this happen.

If you have not been to Leveragedretail.net recently, check it out. You will find 2 new tutorials there to help you learn the simple step-by-step system to move product and book more classes.

The best way to learn this is to invest 3 hours.

Here is what to do next:

1. Go to Leveraged Retail Site
2. Print out the workbook
3. Go to the 'How to Conduct a Class' section
4. View the video while you follow along [1 hour]
5. View the video a second time and identify the pluses & minuses
6. Make a cheat sheet so you avoid the mistakes and get the good stuff in
7. Practice with another distributor ~ along with the video ~ remember you can 'pause it'

This method of learning will shoot you right through the learning curve.

Trainings

Train, Retrain & Retain

A long time MLM truth, to be sure.

I will be in Providence, RI with Gary Holister on Jan. 17

Details? Click Here

I will be in Oklahoma on the 7th of Feb and in West Virginia on the 20th & 21st of Feb.

Personally, I am looking forward to ramping up this blog and the email group we have set up with short tips and experiences. We have been working on some product tutorials and videos.

There is a Skin Nutrition Class on video at CLICK HERE and we will be adding several more videos soon. Not only will you see Davene doing more classes but you'll also see Lisa who had never done anything like this in her life. To me, this is when it gets really powerful.

I can share with you that Davene has made a major commitment to Skin Nutrition Classes and bringing along Lisa to the point of confidence is stunning to see. Another student has emerged ~ and this is key ~ because of the success Lisa is having.

This is one of the huge benefits explained in "How to Build a HUGE Glimpse Business." Some of the 'old guard' is done watching and ready to get busy. This plan works if you work it.

Are there speed bumps and challenges along the way? Yes.

Do folks get disappointed because all four don't show up? Yes.

Do folks get frustrated when friends cancel with some stupid excuse? Yes.

Lisa had been through a lot of that but has also been through a $550 pack and 3 $1000 packs and just ordered a 4th.

BUT ~ Lisa has picked up retail profit and 750 in power starts. She'll pick up another power start on this order.

What does it all mean? It means that within 5 weeks some decent profit has been made and that is nice but what really is great is that Lisa has now done 2 on her own for other people.

Davene is gaining speed and if you multiply Lisa's $4500 in volume and people already re-ordering times 10 it is over 40,000 in volume.

Why times 10? Simple Davene is going to get 9 more people to the point Lisa is at BY HERSELF.

That is Premier volume with just 10 reps.

So, do things always go great in terms of guests and sales and more parties? NO

Is it worth it? Are you kidding?

It is GO Time

Happy New Year

IT IS GO TIME! We are excited to bring you very exciting news about Glimpse and conducting the Skin Nutrition Classes.

Wednesday we will be posting a couple of tutorials.

We all need 2 basic skills will drive Leveraged Retailing.

ONE Retail Sales

TWO Booking Additional Classes

We will be posing a Skin Nutrition Class at the site late Wednesday. It will be shown 2 ways. You will see a tutorial cut into the class and you will also be able to view the class without the tutorial. The reason for this is simple. We want to help you get the feel for the class by itself and then demonstrate how the 11 Tips to high retail volume are built right into the presentation.

Once you see it, you'll realize how easy these classes are to conduct.

There will also be a detailed explanation of these 11 tips and closing tips in a flash presentation.

We plan on launching wednesday night at some point so keep checking.

Payment Options

Let's make a couple of simple points first

First: Be Flexible

Second: Common Sense = Big Bucks

Third: Follow the Money

Be Flexible means: you have options for payment. Don't complcate it by listing all your options, just read the situation and offer a two options.

Common Sense: Sometimes when we get something 'new & different' [like a merchant account or Pro Pay] we offer that without asking for a check/cash. Just because you can take Credit Cards does not mean that you can't take cash. On the 4 sales Davene made last night she took 3 different froms of payment ~ cash, check and 2 charges.

Follow the Money: As a society we are in a 'transition' phase ~ people tend to want to pay the way they are used to ~ so by following their 'money trail' [re:how they like to pay], the sale is completed a familiar way for THEM. This is key to not losing a sale[s] at the end.

OK, 3 options for CCs

One: Merchant Account [we love this one] ~ easy to set up at a local bank - you get a box ~ IDENTICAL to what they are used to seeing. We love this because it is set up in the private consultation room. My experience in MLM & Sales is the MORE FAMILIAR people are with the process, the more likely they are to continue. Yes we pay a small monthly fee and a very small % of the sale ~ but ~ the simplicity and familiarity folks have with the process is 'priceless' ~ we just swipe the card, a reciept comes out and you're done with the sale and on the the real reason you are there ~ booking more classes. Money in account within hours. Very cool.

TWO - get a paypal account. They are free to set up and if they are paypal members AND use it regualrly [we use one all the time] ~ the 'familiarty factor is in your 'favor' again. Can't say it often enough: making it easy to pay in important ~ making it familiar will 'swing' a few folks from 'hesitating to completion' in a nono-second. They can pay without an account too. Obviously, this means you need a laptop or computer in the 'consult-room.' % paid on transaction, moeny is available in your paypal account right away, free to transfer it to your checking account, takes about 3-4 days to show up.

THIRD - Pay Pro ~ you can 'swipe' the card or get the information. Fees, transfer times etc pretty much like paypal. Much prefer 'swiping' the card as to getting information. Again, the 'familiar' thing.

We set the box [from merchant account] up so it is clear view when they sit down. After placing a kit that is 'pre-packaged' in a bag with their name on it in their lap, we simply ask, 'Is cash or charge better for you?' and we look down at the 'box'

Make it easy, familiar and have all the options. Once you start doing these on a regular basis, you'll not worry about the fees and focus on their 'comfort~buying' habits......KEY: the fees you pay are TAX deductable.....so keep track of them monthly.

It All Happens ~ IF ~ You Learn 2 Skills

Leveraged Retailing works.

The concept is amazing and everyone loves the idea ~ BUT ~ it requires an investment, just like any other success.

As good friend Glen Sparks likes to say, "If we don't pay the price for success now we will certainly pay the price for failure later. Either way, we pay the price"

My experience is clear on Glen's point. The price of success is much cheaper and easier.

There are 2 skills, pretty easy ones, that we need to master.

ONE: How to retail.
TWO: How to book more classes.

The truth is if you move product at retail, learn the first skill, the booking of the classes is easy. There are 11 principles to creating high retail volume. Son't worry, they have been built right into the presentation for you.

Here is the best thing to do so anyone can quickly master the retailing part.

FIRST: Get 4 - 6 reps together and go over the presentation. Then run 3 claases with each taking turns.

SECOND Schedule 2 classes with those reps. The first class should be with reps they have. Nothing develops skills more than practice. The second class is for 'live' prospects.

A little math. By running 3 classes at your house and one at each of their's with reps you and several members of your team will master via practice [that is the price of success] you will all become experts.

You will also have 4 to 6 clases booked with new prospects ~ applying positve pressure to yourself and the team. Positve pressure makes all of us more open to 'consturctive feedback.

Concept to Cash

How do you convert the 'concept' of Leveraged Retailing® to 'CA$H?'

Simple. Here is a 2-3 hour, fun filled answer.

1. Invite Distributors over for Classes, Training.
2. Make a GREAT cheat sheet.*
3. Do Class with your team.
4. Eat Pizza, critique, workbook about classes together
5. Do it again**
6 Eat Ice Cream, critique, workbook about classes together
7. Do it again**
8. Drink coffee, critique, workbook about classes together
9. Book Classes at the homes of reps you just trained with

* Cheat Sheet ~ Inside the training you will find the 11 Principles of High Retail Volume. THE ARE CRITICAL. Don't worry about remembering all of them. Use a Glimpse Brochure to 'cheat' by writing the things you need to do to execute the 11 principles. Examples in work book found at http://leveragedretail.net. [BTW - a BIG BIG thanks for Dave Watjen for great editing job on workbook ~ thanks Dave]

** Do it again ~ Take Turns. One of the best ways to learn is to teach.
Switch off in the middle of the presentation with others who want to try. Create your cheat sheets and compare them.

Once you do one or two of these with reps a LIGHT BULB will go off in your head ~ you'll see how simple they are and by doing them with reps 4 great things will happen.

1. You will get better
2. You will book classes at homes of reps for 'real' guests
3. Reps who have not ordered Glimpse will.
4. Learning & Socializing together builds a dynamic into your team that is priceless

Have fun, relax, its easy and people LOVE it.
